Acolytes & Crucifers

Welcome to our acolyte and crucifer ministry page!

Shady Grove is seeking acolytes and crucifers for the upcoming school year. Rising third, fourth, and fifth graders serve as acolytes and rising sixth through twelfth graders serve as crucifers. Every effort is made to schedule siblings on the same Sunday.

If your child has ever thought about serving, please plan to attend training. In addition, if your child is planning to change responsibilities from an acolyte to a crucifer, he/she should plan to attend.

There are two training opportunities: Sunday, August 25 at 12:30 p.m. will be a Pizza Lunch and Training OR a second session will be held on Wednesday, September 11 at 5:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
