Hanover Interfaith Free ClinicsIt began as an idea. It became the mission of many. The Cheryl Watson Memorial Clinic at SGUMC provides medical care to eligible Hanover County residents. Dates beginning June 2019: June 4 & 18; July 2, 16, & 30; August 13 & 27; September 10 & 24; October 8 & 22; November 5 & 19; December 3 & 17. To register: call the clinic of your choice (numbers listed at the bottom of this page), ask for pre-screening, bring all documentation. The Mission: "To offer a faith-based healing ministry to our qualified Hanover neighbors by providing free medical and dental health care with compassion, dignity, and respect."

Shady Grove United Methodist Church is one of five local churches involved in Hanover Interfaith Free Clinics. Currently, our volunteer needs include doctors and nurses and volunteers to supply a snack supper to our medical team of volunteers. If you are a doctor or nurse who would like to volunteer, please contact Roy Satterwhite at rfsatterwhite@aol.com.
