Youth Small Groups

While CROSSFIRE provides youth a wonderful place to begin their connection with Christ and the community of faith, it is important that youth, like all Christian disciples, be connected with an on-going small group experience. These groups provide a more intimate environment in which participants can discuss and wrestle with issues of faith. Shady Grove provides a large variety of small group opportunities for youth.:
TGIT: Thank God It's Tuesday
Middle school and high school youth are invited to be a part of a new Tuesday morning devotion group.  We'll meet at the Bell Creek Panera to "thank God that it's Tuesday" and spend some time in devotion at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday mornings.  We'll finish and head to area schools at 8 a.m.  We will need parents to help drop off at areas schools, so please contact Pastor Brad if you can help with this or if you have any questions.

Sunday School
Shady Grove offers two sessions of Sunday School every Sunday morning.
Including the youth classes listed below, there are classes offered for all ages.

Session #1, 9:30 a.m.
The Middle School Class meets in Room G-218
Youth will participate in discussion about the sermon teaching and scriptures shared during the worship service.
Once a month, they will participate in the ever-popular game of Bible Jeopardy.

The High School Class meets in Room G-217 (Youth Center)
The goal of this class is to present and support the foundational beliefs that compromise the Christian Worldview.  We do so by answering the five basic
questions of live (origin, purpose, identity, morals, and destiny) and by looking a contemporary newsworthy topics through the paradigm of Biblical
reason.

Session #2, 11:00 a.m.
5th Grade and Older  Room G-217
Youth will learn about Jesus by reading from the Bible.  They will learn monthly Bible verses, The Lord's Prayer, and begin to learn the organization of the
Bible.  Crafts and/or games will support and enrich their Bible lesson.  Their year will survey the entire Bible so the children w\begin to gain a broader

understanding of God's word.
