In-person worship at 8:15 and 11:15 
Registration is now closed, however, limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
 
We still offer worship online at 9:45 a.m. at shadygroveumc.org/worshiponline. You can also access our livestream on the Boxcast app on Roku, Apple TV, an Amazon Fire TV.

Registration. Registration will open Monday morning for the following week's services. Space is limited, please register early each week online or by contacting Karin Nelson in the church office at karinnelson@shadygroveumc.org or 804-746-9073 and letting her know how many will be attending and the names of everyone in your party. 
 
Before You Leave Home. Each person is asked to take his or her temperature before arriving at church. It should be under 100.4. If you or someone in your family is exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms or have been around anyone who has had symptoms in the past 14 days or who has tested positive or is awaiting test results, please stay home and join us for Worship Online at 9:45.
 
Masks.  Masks are required to be worn over the mouth and nose as you approach the building entrance and through the duration of the worship service, until you return to your vehicle. If you are not comfortable wearing a mask fully over your nose and mouth, please stay home and worship with us online at 9:45
 
Parking and Arrival. Please enter from the Meadowbridge Rd. entrance and find a parking spot. Upon exiting your vehicle, please remember to maintain 6ft. social distancing. You may enter at the Welcome Center entrance or the Clinic entrance where you will check in with a greeter. 
 
Health Acknowledgement. Each person in attendance will be directed by a greeter to review a health acknowledgement poster and confirm that you have not been experiencing COVID symptoms. 
 
Hand Sanitizer. Hand sanitizing stations are available in several locations around the entrances and exits.
 
Social Distancing.  Please remember to love your neighbor from a safe social distance of 6ft. To help maintain health and safety, we ask that you not hug or shake hands.  Air hugs and waving is always welcome! We encourage you to smile under your mask. :) Once in the building, ushers will direct you.  There will be ushers to help you locate your seats. Upon the conclusion of the service, ushers will direct you how to exit. 
 
Seating. Ushers will direct you to your seat. Due to limited seating, you may not be able to pick where you sit. Seating will be spaced out at a safe social distance.  
 
Children.  Children will sit with their family in worship. There currently is no nursery or children's classes available on Sunday morning. As a reminder, everyone present must wear a mask except children under the age of 2.  If your child is uncomfortable wearing a mask for the duration of the time, please consider worshiping with us online at 9:45 a.m.
 
Restrooms. Restrooms will be accessible off of the Narthex, the top floor of the Education building, and the Nursery hallway immediately outside the back of the gym. One person/family may enter the restroom at a time, cleaning materials are provided and you are asked to wipe down any surfaces that you touch. 
 
Service Details. The worship service will run about 40 minutes long. A digital order of worship will be made available. An offering can once again be collected by the ushers. You may also give online. or use text-to-give. We ask that no food or drink be brought into the building. Those who are fully vaccinated are now invited to sings in worship. Masks are still required.
